After each season, www.fantasybaseballbiggame.com will release it's All-Time top 20 list of the most successful owners ever.  In order to determine the rankings in a fair, objective manner, the measure of success will be calculated by using the following formula.

1.  Take the overall possible percentage of points achieved.  (For example: In a 25 team league, there are 250 possible points a team can receive.  If a team receives 225 of the 250 possible points, that owner will have 90% of possible points.  If the same owner is in three leagues, each percentage will be calculated separately. If the owners totals are 125, 225 and 250 points, the owner would have separate percentage totals of 50%, 90% and 100%.  Each total is then multiplied by the appropriate league multiplier.

2.  Multiply each percentage total by the applicable league multiplier.  The league multiplier is determined by the league entry fee.  Here is a table of multipliers, based on entry fee.  The multiplier will remain the same, based on the entry fee, for each type of league.  For example, Independent Leagues with an entry fee of $250 will use the same multiplier as entries into the Big Game Leagues, since it also has an entry fee of $250.  As you can see, each $100 adds a tenth of a point to the multiplier.  The reason for the difference is that owners tend to focus a little more energy into leagues where the prize money is higher; which raises the level of competition.  (For example: If we look at the owner in the Step 1 example, let's assume the 50% of available points achieved came from a free entry league.  The multiplier would be 1.00.  The total percentage points for this league would be 50 x 1.00 = 50.  If this second league percentage total of 90% of available points achieved came from a league with an entry fee of $100, the league multiplier would be 1.10.  The total points achieved for this league would be 90 x 1.10 = 99.  Finally, if we look at the third total of 100% points and assume the league entry fee was $250, the multiplier would be 1.25, which would make the point total for this league 100 x 1.25 = 125.

To figure this owners total percentage points, we would take the average of the three totals: (50 + 99 + 125) / 3 = 91.33

3.  Additional “Cash Finish Points” will be added to the overall possible percentage of points achieved total.  Each owner will receive the following points added directly to their percentage total for each cash finish they have.

These points will be added directly to the average league points achieved. So, if we take our above example, and assume the owner finished in 15th, 3rd and 1st place in each league respectively, Free, $100, and $250, the owner would receive the following additional points for each finish; 0, 3.30, and 6.25 = 9.55.  The total cash prize points of 9.555 would be added to the owners percentage point average from above, which was 91.33 + 9.55 = 100.88.  (All league finishes, from every year, will be used to determine rankings.)  Previous years will also be added into the average to determine the overall possible percentage of points achieved.  Cash Finish points from all years will also be included in determining the overall rankings.

4.  Rank all totals from highest to lowest.  (Please note, in order to qualify, an owner must have participated in at least one league for every two years leagues were formed and awarded cash prizes.)

Greatest Individual Season Achievements

The section will contain the greatest single season achievements, chronicling the greatest single season records.  In addition to seeing which owners have the greatest single season totals in the ten roto-scoring categories (Avg, Runs, HR, RBI, SB, Wins, Sv, ERA, K, WHIP), you will also find accomplishments, such as the highest percentage of league points achieved by one team, largest single season cash prize total, largest margin of victory and more.  If you are able to set a new record, you'll win some extra cash!
