HR Derby Contest Rules
Once you enter the HR Derby, you will be given the opportunity to submit 20 different players who you think will hit the most total HR's in 2010.
Owners will compete against other owners in their entry league.
You may enter the league as often as you like.
All entries and HR derby rosters must be submitted no later than April 1, 2010.
All rosters will consist of any 20 different players. Those players can play any position. There is not a minimum requirement of players to come from any position. If you would like to submit 20 OF's or 20 1B's, that is allowed. Any combination of hitters is allowed.
Roster changes are permitted THROUGH April 1, 2010. After April 1, 2010, there will no longer be any roster changes allowed for any reason, including injury replacements, poor performance, suspensions, minor league assignments, etc. You will keep the same 20 players for the entire season!
You will receive one point for every home run each of your players hits. At the end of the regular season, the team with the most HR's will be the winner.
There will be no tie breakers. If teams tie, they will split the prize pool evenly.
Players may appear on more than one team. If you have multiple teams, you can have the same player on each team entry, but only once per team. (You will be competing against some owners who also pick some of the same players).
Prize pool will be determined by the total number of entries. The winner will receive 75% of the prize pool, with 2nd place receiving 15% of the prize pool.
