Top 50 Outfielders
Michael Lins 4.4.09

The OF crop is deep, with lots of value, but keep in mind, when you need at least 4 or 5 and your league has at least 12 teams, they run out quickly!  Each team should be able to grab a great OF1 and OF2, but how you draft after will determine the rest of your OF, as well as whether or not you compete for your league title.  You'll want to fill as many OF positions as possible from the top 50 OF's listed below.

Many people are staying away from Matt Holliday, since he has left Coors Field.  Even in Oakland, Holliday will produce numbers worthy of being the first OF taken off the board.  He is a five category player.  For those worried about his SB numbers, remember he is entering his free agent year and will be looking for a large contract.  Also, Billy Beane will be looking for a bounty in return for him.  Sizemore is capable of 30/30 production, but lacks the average to be the #1 overall OF.

There is lots of value deep.  Younger players like Justin Upton, Delmon Young and Chris Young will all begin taking the next steps forward and any of these OF's could be in the top 20 OF's when the season is over.
